How many people does a bachelorette hibachi party in Summit need?

There is no headcount rule, only a $550 event minimum — about ten adults at $55 each. Most Summit bachelorette and bachelor groups we cook for are twelve to twenty, and one chef handles that comfortably. Past roughly 25 guests we add a second chef and a second grill so the food keeps pace with the group.

Can the chef cook at a rental house or Airbnb in Summit?

Yes, and that is where most of these parties happen. We need permission from whoever manages the property and a level spot roughly 10 by 10 feet with open air above the grill — a deck, patio, driveway or yard in Summit all work. Check the house rules on open flame before you book and send us a photo of the space.

Do you bring alcohol or serve drinks?

No. We are the food and the show; drinks are yours to bring. The chef will time the courses around whatever the group is already doing, but the grill stays with the chef and we do not pour or serve alcohol at any Summit event.

What does it cost for a bachelorette party in Summit?

Adults are $55 each and children are $30 each, with the $550 event minimum. Travel to Summit is a flat $50 covering the first 50 miles with tolls included, then $1 per mile beyond that. Filet mignon and scallops are premium upgrades and lobster tail is at market price. A group of sixteen adults, for reference, is $880 plus travel.

Can you do something for the bride or groom specifically?

Tell us who it is and we will build a moment around them — a spatula drum, the chant, the shrimp toss aimed their way, and the last plate served first. If you want the show loud, say so; if you want it cooked quietly because the group has plans right after, we can do that instead.
