Three dates genuinely sell out every year: New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve and the second Sunday in May. Chefs for December 24 and December 31 start being claimed in October, and Mother’s Day afternoon slots are gone by late April. The Fourth of July is the busiest single day on our calendar and needs six to eight weeks, more in a shore town. Everything else on this list is comfortable at three to four weeks. Half of these holidays are cold-weather dates and the question comes up every time. The chef is fine: he stands at a flat-top running at several hundred degrees and cold air is not the constraint. Your guests are the constraint. The setup that works most reliably from November to March is an open garage with the door up — the chef gets ventilation, the guests stay inside, and the hibachi show is still visible through the doorway. Indoors under a proper range hood works, and a covered porch works. We settle which one when you book, not on the morning.

Same pricing on every date, no holiday surcharge

Adults are $55 each, children $30 each, with a $550 event minimum — roughly ten adults. Travel is a flat $50 covering the first 50 miles with tolls included, then $1 per mile beyond. Filet mignon and scallops are premium upgrades and lobster tail is at market price. There is no December premium and no holiday surcharge on any date on this page; the only thing that changes on a holiday is how early you have to book. Alcohol is always yours to supply — we do not bring or serve it.
